Diya Decoration Activity

Objective: Our Grade 3 students have decorated their Diyas and presenting the importance of Diwali festival. When a Diya is lit, it is removing the negative energies that could be present in a space and bring in positivity, diyas represent enlightenment, knowledge, or wisdom. Diwali is a festival of lights and it signifies purity, goodness, good luck, and power. The presence of light means the non-existence of darkness and evil forces. ”
